A pretty good argument could be made for saying all websites are at least partially Ecommerce. After all, all websites are selling something, directly or indirectly, whether they have a shopping cart or not. But to fit the standard definition of what Ecommerce is, you need to be able to facilitate “commercial transactions conducted electronically on the Internet.” (see source). Think of the biggest Ecommerce platform on the internet, Amazon, and the key components are pretty obvious. Products, images, descriptions, prices, and shopping cart functinality so you choose and purchase a product (or service) entirely online.
Ecommerce You can Afford
Let’s get down to business. If you have a product or a service, you have customers that want your products. Problem is, if you have always relied on foot traffic to your store for revenue, the traffic patterns are changing. More and more people are looking for alternatives to in-person shopping and prefer the convenience of shopping from their couch and waiting ofr delivery, or picking up at the store. That’s were we come in. We can build you a channel to market, an Ecommerce channel.
Ecommerce on a Budget
We are making an effort to take as many local businesses into the Ecommerce channel as possible as we believe current trends in consumer behavior will continue. With our experience in implementing the Woo Commerce plug-in for WorePress, we are able to offer two packages as building blocks to work with.
WordPress Ecommerce on your website:
This is for websites already built on WordPress. We will install and configure WooCommerce on your WordPress website including setting up payment gateways. We will also help you to get your products into the product database and ready to be ordered online.
WordPress Ecommerce Add-On Site:
This is for websites that are built on a platform other than WordPress. If you can give us access to your website hosting account, we can house everything on your current website/account. If not, we can set up a new hosting account specific to your on-line sales channel branded to your store. We will then install and configure WooCommerce on your WordPress website including setting up payment gateways. We will also help you to get your products into the product database and ready to be ordered online.
